The Washington Municipal Clerks Association (WMCA) proudly announces that Shawn Campbell, CMC, City Clerk for the City of Auburn, has been named the recipient of the prestigious 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award. This award recognizes outstanding contributions to the municipal clerk field, encompassing an individual’s full clerk career, and honoring an individual’s exceptional service in areas that may include, but are not limited to leadership, organization, administration, communications, service to WMCA, professional development, special projects, and community involvement.

Her contributions have strengthened WMCA, enhanced the standing of Washington clerks within the broader community, and created enduring opportunities for professional advancement. The award was presented at the annual WMCA Conference on March 18, 2026, in Kennewick, Washington, where colleagues and peers celebrated Treva’s achievements.
